The Crushing Weight of Life

During everyday life when things are going good

I feel lethargic

I have no interest

I get some inspiration

But the desire is short lived

I excel when times get hard

Right now

\Times are hard

And I feel on top of the world

Our Current Situation

Our new van’s transmission went out

My trucks clutch went out and now we need a flywheel and can’t find one anywhere

Mandy’s car just bit the dust Thursday

The blazer needs a brake line

The BMW needs a couple parts to get the vacuum lines sealed and some rear end grease

The new white truck needs an engine and the Toyota is waiting to be scrapped.

The only working vehicle is our motorcycle

All of our Quail were just savagely murdered

Our refrigerator quit a couple of weeks ago

And I killed our air conditioner, weed eater, and lawnmower last week

Sounds bad doesn’t it?

But I am on top of the world

It’s almost like I need something to motivate me

Before I can enjoy life

Oh, one more thing,

I put my two week notice in at work a couple days ago.

All of this has helped me to stay strong and stay on my diet

Our business will be open on the 28^th

I am lovin this

The worse it gets the higher I get

After 18 years

I finally have the courage to open the store

And not have another job for safety.

I feel like the king of the world.
