My life is really good right now

But there are some times

When sadness comes over me

There really isn’t a logical explanation for it

All other circumstances aside

I realized today

That there isn’t really anything that I can go to school for

That will result in a good job

While continuing to live in this area.

If I want to do research and work for a museum or a big library

Then I have to move

I’m not moving to the city.

I have considered going into mortuary science

It really appeals to me

I could get a job around here

I feel that I would lose interest after a few years

I need a job that involves research and writing

I want to get a higher education

In fact I never want to stop going to school

But what direction

What do I major in

I’m tired of class getting over just as we are getting into the good stuff

I don’t want to go from world lit

And switch gears and jump in to American History.

I want to focus on something and really get into it

But what do I chose to study?
