Tonight I Make A Wish for all of Mankind

My wish for all of you

Is that while you sleep tonight

That you have a dream that feels like it lasts forever

If you not a judgmental hateful person

My wish is that your dream is a wonderful adventure

If you dislike a certain race, a certain religion, or you hate homosexuals

My wish for you

Is that you dream of being a member of the group that you dislike

And that you are surrounded by those who dislike you

Because you are different

If you hate Dark skin people

I hope you are chased for what seems like an eternity

By the clan

If you’re a Muslim, or a Christian

My wish is that you fall back through time

And experience the pain of the torture devices that were used during the inquisition

I hope that your dream lasts so long that you wake up

With a new state of mind

And you have a little more compassion

For those that are not of your group

If you’re a Republican

And you’re an extremist

My wish for you is that your dream takes you to a city

Where you have no job, no home

And you’re sleeping under a bridge

I wish this in hopes that the other side of life is revealed to you

If you’re an extreme Democrat

My wish for you is that you have a lot of money in your dream

But you’re constantly being taxed by the government

And you have to watch your hard earned money

Paying for those that party and play all day long

If you dislike or fear gay people

My wish for you

Is to live a lifetime in your dream

And you are a teenager that is gay

In a school full of homophobes

And you’re tormented for being different

Every second of an entire life time.

My wish for you

Is that tonight when you fall asleep

You fall into the world of the other side

And in the morning

You awaken

With a new understanding

That will bring us all closer to peace
