There is an amazing feeling of freedom now

It’s as though there has been some sort of anchor dragging behind us

It has been there for months

And now it feels like we cut the rope

The weight sank straight to the bottom

And were floating free in the water

Part of it might be that Mandy finally

got all of the paperwork filled for her divorce

but I felt this freedom before that.

Its like there has been something secretly working against us

And it has finally been made impotent

It can no longer do us any harm

I feel really good

I haven’t felt this good in years.
