Today was hard on the kids

The kids were put on the spot today 

by someone that put their anger at me

above what was best for the children

then after they  got home from school

Browndog came up to me holding Ashli’s dead bunny in his mouth

Life is hard enough for children without having to deal with vengeful adults.

Dealing with the death of a pet is hard enough

But add that to worry caused by an adult that used them as a weapon

And it Just isn’t right.

Seeing a little girl with tears in her eyes is hard

Knowing that half of the pain was caused by an adult

Is devastating.
