Broke AZZ Cookies

Broke AZZ Cookies

In a medium sauce pan combine the following

1 Level TBS cocoa powder

¼ cup sheds spread

½ cup cooking oil

1/8 cup left over frosting

22 left over marshmallows with chocolate swirls

4 marshmallow peeps

2 caps full of vanilla extract

Heat until the peeps and the mallows are melted stirring frequently

Combine the following in a mixing bowl

3 eggs

1 ½ cups flower

1 level plastic spoon of baking soda

1 level spoon of salt

3 cups of uncooked oatmeal

Mix thoroughly

Add the mixture to the melted ingredients

Mix well

And then add a cup of crunchy peanut butter

Mix everything together

And spoon out globs of cookie dough

About the size of golf balls onto a greased cookie sheet

Squish with a fork

Bake them for 14 minutes in a 350 degree oven.

NOTE

I used frosting that had been died green

This gave the cookies a unhealthy looking green tint

The cocoa and the chocolate swirled marshmallow

made them brown

and all of that together

with the peanuts sticking out of them

made for a rather unpleasant looking cookie before they were baked

I suggest adding a couple cups of sugar

we didn't have any

These cookies were very bland

And maybe cutting back on the flower or adding more oil

they were very crumbly

ultimatly

they served their purpose

and got me through a sweet tooth night

but they weren’t terrific

I live by a rule

DO WITH WHATCHA YA GOT

it aint proper english

but proper is for the rich anyway

Being poor isn’t always fun

But it is an adventure.

Try to come up with your own cookie recipe

Remember

Before there were chocolate chip cookies

Somebody had to mix some stuff together

And give it a shot

Mine didn’t turn out great this time

But some of my little experiments turn out good

The best part is the kids won’t eat them so I get them all to myself.
