Our Minds Have Changed

A few weeks ago

Someone asked us

if they could

spend more time

with the children

I was all for it

I thought that it

was a really good idea

This was someone

that we thought

were deserving

of more time with the children

It wasn’t the father
His visitation is set by law
and besides

he doesn’t run down

our religion

Today at the dinner table

We were told

that the children are being told

by the people mentioned above

that basically

people of our religion

“people who deal with candles”

 like wiccans

“ will burn on Earth

when the world ends”

Now they said this

to a 10 year old Wiccan

It made her very uncomfortable

As of right now

I am opposed

To any additional contact

With those people


Any contact

that isn’t court ordered.


I think that my wife agrees

but I won’t speak for her here.
