Interesting. This is worth looking in to. Is it really important. I think that it lends to the concept that the Bible is a tool to teach morals and to help guide people and not something that we read every word as an exact fact. I love the things that Jesus taught I like many of the moral teachings. The problem is that we get caught up in stories like the 3 wise men visiting the manger and we make it a fact. Over time things get added and they are accepted as fact.

My point is that these things aren't worth dying for, killing for, hating for, or even loosing sleep over. Just love God, whether your Catholic, Jewish, Muslim, Wiccan, or whatever your faith is. Love God, Love each other, Black, white, brown, gay straight, let the differences dissolve in to the night. We are one people.
