Here is a test to see if you’re poor

It is also a test to see

If

Even though you grew up poor

Your still able to understand

What being poor really means

Here is the test

When you hit an animal with your car

What is the first thing

that comes in to your head

if you truly understand

what it’s like to be poor

your first thought is

OOOH that’s gonna be good

with some biscuits and gravy

If you think anything other than that

You’re beyond being able to understand

you may have grown up poor

But you’ve lived the good life

Long enough

That you no longer have the right
